In terms of sound, the songs on this album are of good quality. A Ghanian traditional drum called a "fontomfrom" was used. The songs are in English and in the Ghanaian language. Among the tunes of the songs include Afro Jazz tunes, Southern-African tunes and contemporary Highlife tunes. Indeed, there are some mixup of some tunes in some of the songs, rather making such songs unique and refreshing.
The first song titled, "Oyonko Pa," means "The Companion" in Ghana. It is about the good deeds of companions and how often they are good at times.
The song titled, "Welcome Mr. Obama," calls on all to help make the world a better place.
The song titled, "Oyinkye," means "Long Life" in Ghana; and it admires the achievements of the aged and prays for some grace.
The title for the fourth song, "Oman Ghana," means "The Country Ghana." This song calls especially on Ghanaian authorities to help improve the standard of living in Ghana. A video clip of "Oman Ghana" can be found on YouTube.com.
The fifth song, "God Knows," or "Nyame nim" in Ghana is about God knowing all our challenges and yet loving us.
The sixth song, "Meda me Nyame ase," meaning "I Will Praise My God," is a cool praise song.
